CLASSIFICATION OF TEAMS:
1. If there are two (2) teams in the classification with equal points, the result(s) of the game(s) between the two (2) teams involved will be used to determine the placing.
2. If (3) teams are tied, then the points scored will determine the placing.
Example:
Results between A, B, C:
A vs. B 82 - 75
A vs. C 64 - 71
B vs. C 91 - 84
Therefore: 1st B - 166 points scored
2nd C - 155 points scored
3rd A - 146 points scored
Players:
Senior player should be 35 years old or will turn 35 within the league's game season. A copy of proof maybe be needed showing that player is turning 35 within the game season. Youngest player that will be allowed to play is 16 years old, but with a letter of consent from the parents. Both parent(s) and the 16 years old player will signed a waiver from the league organizer.
Five (5) players from each team shall be on the court during playing time and may be substituted. And according to FVBL rules, Three (3) junior players from each team are the maximum number shall be on the court and may be substituted and 2 senior players. A technical foul will be given to the team that will violate this rule. No more than fifteen (15) team members, eligible to play.
Game time:
32 minutes per game, 16 minutes 1st half, 16 minutes 2nd half. Stop clock. 24 second shot clock. If the score is tied at the end of the period, the game shall be continued with an extra period of two (2) minutes as are necessary to break the tie. In all extra periods the team shall continue to play towards the same baskets as in the second period.
Time Outs:
2 time outs per period, 45 seconds per time out. Unused time out in the 1st half will not be carried in the next half. (1) one charged time-out on extra period. A coach or assistant coach has the right to request a charged time-out. He shall do so by going in person to the scorer and asking clearly for a time-out, making the proper conventional sign with his hand. A charged time-out shall not be granted to the scoring team when the game clock is stopped following a successful field goal during the last two (2) minutes of the second period or any extra period.
Penalty:
9 team fouls. 5 fouls committed by a player means he will be out of the game.
Technical Foul:
Two (2) Technical fouls committed by a player in a game means he will be thrown-out of the game by the game officials. A bonus free throw for the other team and a ball possession. Technical foul is equivalent to a personal foul or a team foul if committed.
Non-contact Technical Foul:
Disregarding warnings given by officials.Disrespectfully touching the officials, the commissioner, the table officials or the team bench personnel. Disrespectfully communicating with the officials, the commissioner, the table officials or the opponents. Using language or gestures likely to offend or incite the players, officials, committee and spectators. Baiting an opponent or obstructing his vision in the act of shooting by waving his hands near his eyes, clapping hands and shouting at shooter. Excessive swinging of elbows. Delaying the game by deliberately touching the ball after it passes through the basket or by preventing a throw-in from being taken promptly.
Falling down to fake a foul. Hanging on the ring in such a way that the weight of the player is supported by the ring, unless a player grasps the ring momentarily following a dunk shot or, in the judgement of an official, is trying to prevent injury to himself or to another player.
Unsportsmanlike Foul (Intentional):
Two (2) Unsportsmanlike fouls committed by a player in a game means he will be thrown-out of the game by the game officials. A bonus free throw for the other team and ball possession. Subject to a game suspension, if the same player commits unsportsmanlike foul again on his next game schedules, he will be thrown-out again, by this time, he cannot play his remaining game schedules unless he will make an appointment to the committee and disciplinary board. And the disciplinary board will make a decision if they will allow the player to play again. A thrown-out player is not allowed to stay at players bench.
Quartefinals:
Top 8 teams in elimination round will compete to qualify in semi-finals.
Semi-Finals:
Top 4 teams in quarterfinals will compete in the semi-finals, to determine which team will play in the finals.
Finals:
Winners from the semis round will compete for the champion and 1st runner-up trophy. Losing team from the semis round will compete for the 2nd and 3rd runner-up.

- Playing under the influence of alcohol or any illegal subtances. Player who will be caught will not be allowed to play and to stay on team bench. Player(s) who smell prohibited alcohol will not be allowed to play or will be ejected from the basketball court. Player(s) might also be subject for suspension if caught. This will be decided by the league organizers.
- All jewelries (watches, necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings) are not allowed to wear inside the court.
